Michael Kline launched Spy Boy Productions in 2012, bringing over 25 years of experience in talent booking, programming and relationship management across multiple disciplines to his events organization. Created to implement initiatives that transform events into experiences, Spy Boy Productions presents festivals, summer concert series and independent productions in Cape May and the South Jersey region.

The crown jewel of Spy Boy Productions events is the Exit Zero Jazz Festival, a world-class music festival that twice a year transforms the historic seaside town of Cape May into a music village with New Orleans style second line parades filling the streets and international touring artists headlining the Festival stages. Exit Zero Jazz is known as one of the most respected and creative jazz festivals in the country. In 2022, Spy Boy Productions celebrates the 10th Anniversary season of the Exit Zero Jazz Festival with Marcus Miller, Arturo Sandoval, Charles Lloyd, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Gregory Porter all slated to perform.

Michael’s programming aesthetic took root in New Orleans. In 1992, Michael began work as a jazz dee-jay on the highly respected and influential "voice of New Orleans,” WWOZ, made famous in the HBO series “ Treme." By 1997, he combined his work at the station with his work as the in-house booking agent at Burgess Management, handling the touring schedules of Terence Blanchard, Robert Glasper, Lizz Wright and Charlie Haden. In 2006, Michael relocated to Cape May and launched Michael Kline Artists, handling the exclusive representation of an impressive roster of Grammy Award Winners, Guggenheim Fellows, NEA Jazz Masters, and Down Beat Poll Winners.
